Septic inspections for buyers, sellers and homeowners
Buying a home on septic? Know what's underground before you close. Selling? A current inspection keeps the deal moving. Already living with it? A routine inspection catches small problems before they turn into a leach field replacement.
What you get
Every BAM septic inspection ends with a written report: what we checked, what we found, photos, and exactly what we recommend — whether that's nothing at all, a pumping, a repair, or TerraLift.

Septic Inspections FAQ
How often should a septic system be inspected?
Every 3 years for most homes, and any time you buy or sell a property on septic.
Do you do real estate septic inspections?
Yes. We inspect for buyers, sellers, agents and lenders throughout the Sierra Nevada foothills and provide a written report.
Does the tank need to be pumped for an inspection?
A full inspection is most thorough when the tank is pumped. We can pump and inspect on the same visit.
